Do we always have to stay logged in?
You only have to stay logged in on your desktop (workstation) in order to see pop-up notifications. If you are not logged in, the system will continue to work as long as your server is on, and the pop-up notifications will be saved. Later on when you log back in you will receive all the notifications at once.
The server though, where Patient Communicator is installed, must always be on. If it is turned off or down, then the system won't work and no messages will go out.
